Just like you, my wife and I love our GENUINE Scooters.


But it didn't take us long to realize that one of the few things my Buddy 125

& her International lacked was a decent drink holder & a storage area with a lid.



After thinking about it back in the Fall of 2008, I sketched out

some ideas and then started cutting wooden versions of the tray.




2 CAD designers, 2 mold builders, several phone calls, emails, prototype tests

and almost a year after that first sketch, we proudly present to you

The GEN-U-BIN Storage System.



One of the goals from the very beginning was to have a well-made,

useful scooter accessory that was designed and manufactured

totally in the United States of America.

We take great pride in accomplishing that goal!


We truly care about the product we have designed

and we hope you end up enjoying it as much as we do.


I've met some very talented & likable craftsmen throughout

this project that I would not have met otherwise.

I really feel I should thank my very special and lovely wife Liz.

Back in the Spring of 2008, she sent me a link to the Genuine Scooter site.

Luckily, there was a local dealer so I could go look one over.

Between my web searches for information and my daily readings @ ModernBuddy,

I quickly realized there was really no reason to resist owning a Genuine.


All through this project Liz encouraged me when things were moving much too slowly

and when things started costing much, much more than I thought they ever would.

Her input and almost daily discussions saved this project

more than once in the past year.
